A great deal of controversy has been caused by HFT trading and robot trading in general. Most of the HFT robots are proprietary to hedge funds and various institutions. There are some trading robots that are available to retail traders. One such trading robot is called the Fapturbo. I tried to do a little research to see what other are saying about it, and it is a mixed bag. Some say it works, other say it doesn't. If you start reading through some of the most popular forex forums, you will get a lot of opinions, but not much evidence. Ii does seem like a well made piece of software, but how profitable it really is over the long run is any one's guess. I guess you won't know till your try it.
