If you are a novice forex trader or a seasoned professional, you know the most popular forex trading platform is MetaTrader 4. Many traders use MT4 because of custom indicator availability from various vendors and the ability to write your own custom
forex indicators from scratch. My biggest reason for using MT4 is because the platforms is very intuitive and it doesn't take a PhD in Computer Engineering to put on a buy order on the Eur/Usd. If you are a technical trader like myself and need some indicators imported onto your trading charts, MT4 allows this with only a few clicks. Other platforms like IB are very cluttered and can easily overwhelm even a seasoned professional. So my advice is, if you are a new trader, pick a broker that supports MetaTrader 4, and you will have a very pleasant experience.
